Abstract
The ground-state energies of the three-particle systems e+e+e-, H-, D-, He, Li+ and Be2+ have been calculated using Faddeev theory and the method of Ball et al. (1968). The 1s, 2s and 3s terms of the Sturmian set in the expansion of the two-body collision amplitude have been retained, yielding improved agreement with experimental and variational results. Keywords
