Abstract
This paper describes theoretical equations for dielectric, piezoelectric and elastic properties of the composite consisting of polymer and mixed ceramic powder of two different materials. The present author proposes a model for this composite, assuming that the composite consists of two sub-composites which consist of the same polymer and each original ceramic powder with the same ceramic volume fraction. This model in the case that volume fraction of phase 1 is equal to or smaller than that of phase 2 becomes a 0-0 or 0-3 composite. Based on this model and using the equations from series and parallel models, the theoretical equations for the dielectric, piezoelectric and elastic constants of the present composite have been derived. Keywords
