Abstract
Motivated by recent experiments we have studied and induced charged- and neutral-current reactions on within the continuum random phase approximation employing two different residual interactions. We find good agreement with the measured cross sections for the reactions, while our calculation signficantly differs from recently measured cross sections. Our calculation indicates that the measurements of the total (, cross sections are consistent with the total (μ, capture rate.
