Abstract
Acoustic phonon branches of equiatomic NiTi have been investigated by inelastic neutron scattering. A commensurate condensation of the T2A (110) phonon mode at q110=qmax/3, Tc=75 degrees C and a normal behaviour of the LA (111) phonon branch is found. Keywords
