Abstract
Summary: The immunologic and serologic characterization of the mucopolysaccharides associated with CRP as complexes in acute phase serum have been determined by utilization of various hemagglutination techniques. These studies show that the reactive entities have many characteristic features specifically associated with H, Lea and Leb blood group substances. Possible functions of CRP as related to their interaction with these blood group substances are discussed. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
