Abstract
Bradykininogen content of the blood withdrawn 10 and 30 min after challenge from 6 dogs in heavy (in 2 cases lethal) anaphylactic shock has been estimated using a method capable of detecting differences larger than 20%. No detectable decrease of bradykininogen content of the blood has been found in these conditions. It is concluded that bradykinin release cannot constitute an essential factor for the pathogeny of anaphylactic shock in dogs. Keywords
