Abstract
Patients (32) variously diagnosed as suffering from tinnitus were treated with hypnosis. Treatment cnsisted of a 1-h consultation with the physician followed by 4 wk of daily home practice while listening to an audio-tape recording of .apprx. 15 min duration. In 1 mo., 22 of the patients treated learned to disregard the disturbing noise, a considerable gain in the ratio of therapy to time required. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
