Abstract
Detailed analysis by induced CD spectroscopy has revealed that the manganese porphyrin, Mn(tmpyp), binds the major groove of AT or GC sequences in DNA, as well as the reported minor groove of AT sequences, with a preference that depends on the porphyrin to DNA base-pair molar ratio. Keywords
