Abstract
The deviation from Matthiessen's rule for the electrical resistivity of dilute alloys is considered in model calculations which emphasize the energy dependence of the electron relaxation time and also allows for an anisotropic relaxation. The theoretical results are in excellent agreement with available experimental data for aluminum alloys. Keywords
