Abstract
Renin activity of the kidney was determined in a strain of Wistar rats which manifest spontaneous hypertensive cardiovascular disease. A decrease of renin activity was found after a latent period of several weeks after the blood pressure had risen. It was concluded that the decrease was a result of blood pressure elevation as a compensatory reaction. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
