Abstract
The lifetimes of the levels in Ne VII have been measured by the observation of transitions to the level with the use of the beam-foil excitation method. The results are nsec for the levels, respectively. The smaller value for is due to a -allowed decay channel to , and implies a transition probability of 4.3(6) × for this intercombination line.
