Abstract
particles in the energy range 11-18 MeV were used to excite the and members of the ground-state band in . The measured excitation probabilities were analyzed in the framework of Coulomb excitation and the deformed optical model. The resulting electrical transition matrix elements and optical-model deformation parameters are b, , , and .
