Abstract
The temperature dependence of positron annihilation in copper between 93 and 665K has been investigated by simultaneous measurements of positron lifetime and Doppler broadening of the annihilation spectrum. The lifetime and spectrum shape were found to vary linearly with temperature, thus giving no indication of the existence of positron self-trapping in copper. Keywords
