Abstract
High-energy, wide-angle proton-proton scattering data are compared to the predicted asymptotic, crossing-symmetric scattering amplitude obtained in an off-mass-shell, unitary bootstrap model. The predicted amplitude is of the form of a sum of the squares of the nucleon form factor in all three channels. Both the fixed-angle and fixed-energy data are well fitted by this asymptotic formula. Keywords
