Abstract
Corpora lutea were dissected from swine ovaries and extracted with acid alcohol. On treatment with acetone and ether, an oil was obtained, assaying 300 mgm. per unit, according to Allen and Corner. Further purification produced an oil containing one unit in 40-50 mgm. Final purification yielded an oil active in 4 mgm. doses. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
