Abstract
This study confirms the findings of Beutner and Jordan that patients with pemphigus vul-garis have circulating serum antibodies demonstrable by indirect immunofluorescent staining to the intercellular areas of certain epithelial tissues, including skins. Several technical considerations in immunofluorescent techniques may favor or diminish the likelihood of obtaining reproducible results, especially when skin is used as a substrate. These problems are discussed in some detail. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
