Abstract
A component of the chylomicron zone obtained by ultracentrifugation of human sera is described which qualitatively resembles a1 lipoprotein in its carotene and acetal lipid content and in its paper elec-trophoretic mobility. The increased Sf observed seems to be related to the high lipid content of this material. Keywords
