Abstract
Purified ACTH in 0.2% chlorophyllin injected subcutaneously into hypophysectomized rats showed an enhancement of activity as great as that obtained with 16% gelatin as the medium. Since it was observed that chlorophyllin neither inhibited digestion of hemoglobin by trypsin nor prevented inactivation of ACTH by rat serum in vitro, it was. suggested that the observed potentiation was a result of the anti-hyaluronidase activity of chlorophyllin. Keywords
