Abstract
The administration of thiouracil or propylthiouracil to mice maintained on a moderately Low iodide diet results in depression of the activity of the iodide pump per unit of thyroid weight (expressed as the thyroid/serum radioiodide gradient, T/S. The activity of the pump per gland (T/S) increases with increase in total thyroid weight, increase in T/S or increase in both.Keywords
