Abstract
A model describing long Josephson junctions of mixed overlap and inline geometry is presented. The shape of the first zero field step is calculated for this model using a perturbation approach. The question of influence of external magnetic field on the maximum supercurrent is investigated for overlap, inline, and mixed overlap-inline geometries. A linear dependence is found for the inline model and for mixed overlap-inline junctions in agreement with experiments. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
