Abstract
Using a 40 cm bent-crystal spectrograph of the transmission type, a detailed study of the L emission spectrum of europium 63 has been made. Four new diagram lines at 1609.4 XU, 1628.9 XU, 2015.8 XU and 2550.1 XU, corresponding, in that order, to the forbidden transitions L1N1 and LiIOII,III and the quadrupole transitions LIIMIII( beta 17) and LIIIMIII(s) have been observed for the first time. The presence of the quadrupole line LINIV,V( gamma 11) and the low frequency satellite L lambda 10 has been confirmed. Keywords
