Abstract
In the case of a patient with a labile hypertension, the paraganglioma was demonstrated radiologically by retroperitoneal pneumography. Pressor substances in the urine of this patient were demonstrated by intravenous injection of 1 ml into a dog, producing significant transitory hypertension. Urine from patients with hypertension from other causes failed to affect the blood pressure of dogs. It is hoped this report will stimulate further trial of these techniques. Keywords
