Abstract
Coelomomyces finlayae n. sp. and C. macleayae n. sp. are described from larvae of Aëdes (Finlaya) notoscriptus (Skuse) and A. (Macleaya) sp. respectively. Both type localities are in Queensland, Australia. C. stegomyiae Keilin var. rotumae n. var. parasitizes Aëdes (Stegomyia) sp. on the island of Rotuma, near Fiji. C. cribrosus Couch and Dodge and C. indiana Iyengar are recorded from new localities, British North Borneo in the first case and Cambodia in the second. New hosts are listed for C. cribrosus: Culex (Lophoceraomyia) fraudatrix Theobald; and C. stegomyiae: Armigeres obturbans (Walker). A key to the 21 adequately characterized species of Coelomomyces is followed by a brief discussion of the significance of these fungi. Keywords
