Abstract
The life histories of Ulvella lens and U. setchellii were studied in culture. Both species have quadriflagellate zoospores. This means that there is no remaining difference between Ulvella and Pseudulvella. Plants grown in sea water without any additions developed hairs. It is suggested that Ochlochaete lentiformis is a later synonym of Ulvella lens. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
