Abstract
In the framework of the three-nucleon zero-range theory, we have calculated the correlation between the energy of the virtual state of the triton and the doublet neutron-deuteron scattering length. Our results show that the Girard-Fuda plot for the energy of the virtual state as a function of the doublet n-d scattering length is reproduced by this model. We also observe that the plot remains essentially unchanged when the nucleon-nucleon singlet input is varied. Keywords
