Abstract
Monosporium apiospermum, a common agent of mycetoma, was isolated for the first time in Canada from the corneal tissue of an eviscerated eye which had been injured by a particle of wood. Early mycological investigation and accurate diagnosis might have prevented the loss of this eye. Keywords
