Abstract
We have applied both angular and energy distribution measurements of the collision-induced dissociation of a-few-keV in He to estimate the binding energy of the triatomic molecular ion . Our measured value of 6.3±0.5 eV below the dissociation energy agrees well with previous theoretical predictions and experiment.
