Abstract
The thick-target, thick-catcher technique has been used to determine mean kinetic properties of selected products of the fragmentation of Cu by 25-GeV ions and 28-GeV . Recoil properties of target fragments vary strongly with product mass, but show only a weak dependence on projectile type which is interpreted as indicating small deviations from the limiting fragmentation hypothesis for 2-GeV/nucleon ions.
