Abstract
In 102 cases of threatened abortion, of which 50% went on to miscarriage, it was observed that when the urinary pregnandiol excretion was at least 5 mg/24 hours, 79% of the cases went on to full term, and when the excretion was less than 5 mg/24 hours, abortions occurred in 89% of the cases. Keywords
