Abstract
A method for extraction of pituitary gonadotropins utilizing attapulgite and acetone is presented and compared with the kaolin-acetone (Edinburg) method. The attapulgite-acetone extracts contained less inert material and were less toxic. The results of over 100 consecutive clinical assays are presented and analyzed. Keywords
