Abstract
High salt concentrations stimulate RNA polymerase in vitro. Experiments point to an inhibitory action of salts on nuclease activity of isolated nuclei as well as on pancreatic RNase. This effect is discussed as 1 of the possible mechanisms for the stimulation of RNA polymerase by high salt concentrations. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
