Abstract
The mutagenicities of ten synthetic 3-amino-γ-carboline homologues including the mutagens Trp-P-1 and Trp-P-2 found in tryptophan pyrolysate, were tested using Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA100 with S-9 mix. Among these ten compounds, Trp-P-2 was the strongest mntagen to TA98 and TA100.Keywords
