Abstract
The action of progesterone when applied to the uterus of the estrogen-primed immature rabbit, on epithelial and myometrial mitosis, was studied. From this action a quantitative bio-assay method for progesterone was devised. The method is accurate only within a range of 0.06-1.7 [gamma] of progesterone. Amts. of progesterone above 1.7 7 are detd. qualitatively but not quantitatively. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
