Abstract
Serum total fatty acids, total cholesterol and lipid P were determined in healthy, adult dogs receiving 1 g of fat per kg as a 10% olive oil emulsion with and without simultaneous administration of heparin. Heparin increased the rate of removal of intravenous infused fat and lowered serum total cholesterol, but produced no significant changes in lipid P.Keywords
