Abstract
By means of TEM-tilting experiments on foils of deformed Ge it is shown that in edge dislocations constrictions of the stacking fault are closely correlated with jogs. In particular, each jog higher than 5 Å is connected with a constriction. Jogs are generally shorter than 25 Å and have different signs. Plus/minus jog pairs appear twice as often as those of equal sign. Keywords
