Abstract
5-Methyl-4-amino-thiouracil and benzimidazole inhibited the growth of Lactobacillus leichmanii, even in the presence of desoxyribosides of guanine, hypoxanthine, cytosine, or thymine, as growth factors. Adenine, adenosine, and vit.B12 can counteract this inhibition noncom[long dash]petitively. The observation that thymine desoxyriboside sup-presses growth inhibition. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
