Abstract
The cross section for the reaction has been measured for proton energies from 4 to 11.5 MeV. The elastic proton polarization has been measured for proton energies from 3.2 to 5.7 MeV. The region between 3.2 and 7.5 MeV has been fitted using complex background phase shifts and 14 resonances. The parameters of , , , and were obtained for the 14 resonances. The data suggest several new candidates for states in . A 2p-1h doorway state calculation shows reasonable agreement with most of the experimental results.
