Abstract
The effects of maintaining groups of young rats for 28 days on isocaloric food intakes (restricted) consisting of low-fat, 10% fat and 20% fat diets, supplemented with levels of thiamine ranging from 0 to 1,000 μg per day, were studied from the viewpoint of growth, cardiac thiamine, and amount and nature of carcass fat. The resultant data permitted the following conclusions:Keywords
