Abstract
It is shown that detection by measurement of density (mass per unit volume) offers some advantages: the signals from such an instrument are inherently digital and integrated over each measuring interval, which makes calculation of molecular weight averages very easy. A BASIC program is described, by which data reduction can be performed with good accuracy by means of a low-cost minicomputer. Keywords
