Abstract
Rate of localization of anti-rat lung antibody in lungs was determined by a passive transfer method. The purified anti-lung antibody was injected into donor rats and the lung localizing activity remaining in the circulation was assayed by injecting the plasmas into groups of recipient rats. The lung localizing antibody was cleared from the circulation very rapidly, within 6 minutes, indicating that the reponsible antigens must be in very close contact with the circulating blood. Keywords
