Abstract
Consecutive explorations for undescended testes are presented, with particular emphasis on the impalpable testis. Apparently, without preoperative radiographs, an exploration through an inguinal skin incision for unilateral or bilateral undescended testes will allow for correction of the usually present patent processus vaginalis peritonei, provide for identification of a testis or blind-ending spermatic vessel and give adequate exposure for the accomplishment of a single stage orchiopexy if indicated regardless of the location of the testis. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
