Abstract
Densely arrayed (pitch < 10 µm) semiconductor lasers with individually controlled lasing wavelengths (called microarray semiconductor lasers) were developed as fundamental wavelength-selectable light sources. Eight different lasing wavelengths, each > 80 nm, were obtained using a chip with a laser section that is only 70 µm wide and 400 µm long. Keywords
