Abstract
The data indicated that epinephrine activates the adrenal cortex in man, but not the same degree as ACTH. In particular there occurred a 46% increase in 17-ketosteroid excretion, a 48% increase in daily urinary uric acid, and a 79% decrease in circulating eosinophils in the normal. Electrolytic, lympho-cytic, and short term urinary uric acid changes did not correspond to those found usually after the admn. of ACTH.Keywords
