Abstract
The in vitro fungus-yeast conversion of the diphasic fungus, Histoplasma capsulatum, has been accomplished using enzymatic digests of casein. Of these casein digests, the most rapid and complete conversion was found when Ferm-Amine Types I, II, and III were used. Technical grades of these products were found to stimulate conversion to a greater extent than the reagent grades. The use of these media as research and diagnostic aids is suggested. Keywords
