Abstract
The plasticity of minor anatomical characters frequently used in Trichogramma taxonomy was examined. Six isofemale strains representing five species were each partitioned into six cultures at the F2 and exposed to a distinct treatment for two generations. The six treatments consisted of all combinations of three different constant temperatures and two different egg hosts. Several characters in F5 specimens from all strains and treatments were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Significant plasticity is reported for several of the traits examined. Recommendations are made on the use of these characters in Trichogramma taxonomy. Keywords
