Abstract
A brief discussion of non-linear (non-Fourier) heat conduction is given. Recent experimental data on nermatic p-anisylidene p-aminophenyl-acetate are also presented to confirm the earlier reported unusual effects of temperature gradient and boundaries on the thermal conductivity of nematic mesophases such as p-azoxyanisole.Keywords
