Abstract
Var. esperensis of the New Zealand Senecio lautus ssp. lautus is described from L'Esperance, the southernmost of the Kermadec Islands. The small population inhabits bird colonies and the plants are distinguished from ssp. lautus elsewhere by the lack of pinnatisect leaves. Keywords
