Abstract
We slightly modify a semiempirical formula of Song for the color-hyperfine mass splitting in mesons and generalize the formula to baryons. We compare the results of these formulas with experiment and extrapolate them to obtain predictions of the masses of as-yet-undiscovered hadrons. Keywords
