Abstract
The avg. urinary excretion of neutral 17-ketosteroids for 6 adult female mongrel dogs was 2.1 [plus or minus] .73 mg./24 hrs. The avg. reducing cortico-steroid excretion of these 6 dogs was 1.8 [plus or minus] .53. mg./24 hrs. Stimulation of the adrenal glands of the dog by continuous intraven. infusion of ACTH increased both the reducing corticoid and neutral 17_ketosteroid excretion. Keywords
