Abstract
Electromyography and nerve conduction velocities were examined in 12 consecutive patients before and after 3 mo. treatment with carbamazepine. All parameters measured remained unchanged during treatment. Differences between the influence of carbamazepine and phenytoin on the peripheral nervous system are briefly discussed. Keywords
